David C. Bingham, B.Sc., P. GEO
Director Living Sky Geophysics Inc.
Mr. Bingham is a professional geophysicist with 30 years of practice in data acquisition, planning, interpreting and reporting on various geophysical methods employed in Exploration and Environmental Geophysics. He has extensive experience exploring for various mineral types and oil deposits. He is familiar with various EM methods, including VLF, HLEM (MaxMin), Time Domain Fixed Loop, Moving Loop, and borehole EM. Other surveys include ground magnetic, gravity and various IP/resistivity arrays. His knowledge also extends to interpreting airborne magnetic, gravity, and EM surveys. Mr. Bingham has managed numerous geophysical programs and projects that require; planning the programs, preparing contracts, supervising contractors, interpreting data, and reporting results.
Mr. Bingham was responsible for implementing the small moving loop multiple turn Time Domain EM array and using mathematical model solutions for interpretation purposes. Mr. Bingham was also instrumental in the revival of DC Resistivity surveying in the Athabasca Basin, along with Rodney Koch and Grant Nimeck. Mr. Bingham and Mr. Nimeck, are lead players in introducing SQUID EM technology to uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin. Our recent past experience with this technology in the Basin positions us to be considered leading edge in this new EM advancement.
Mr. Bingham was employed from 1994 to late 2009 with AREVA Resources Canada Inc, and was the lead geophysicist on many of AREVA’s projects, including the Waterbury/Cigar, Midwest and McClean Deposits. From 1975 to 1994, Mr. Bingham has worked for various contractors and companies, including Walcott & Associates (as an undergrad student), Kenting Exploration Services, Can Lake Exploration, ENERTEC, SMDC and Patterson Geophysics. Mr. Bingham has worked in many diverse environments including the Yukon lead zinc properties, Alberta’s lead zinc prospects at Pine Point, British Columbia sulphide prospects, Tanzania’s oil prospects, Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin uranium prospects, as well as in the Ontario & Quebec gold belts,
Mr. Bingham is registered as a P. Geo. in Saskatchewan.
Grant Nimeck, B.Sc., P. GEO, P. Geoph.
Director Living Sky Geophysics Inc.
Mr. Nimeck is a professional geophysicist with 25 years of practice in planning, interpreting and reporting on various geophysical methods employed in Exploration and Environmental Geophysics. He has extensive experience exploring for various mineral types, groundwater, shallow natural gas, and oil sand deposits. He is familiar with various EM methods, including Time Domain Fixed Loop, Moving Loop, and borehole EM and Frequency Domain. Other surveys include CSAMT, ground magnetic, gravity and various IP/resistivity arrays. His experience also extends to interpretation of airborne magnetic, gravity, and EM surveys. Mr. Nimeck has undertaken project management on numerous geophysical programs that require; planning the programs, preparing contracts, supervising contractors, interpreting data, and reporting results.
Mr. Nimeck teamed with Mr. David Bingham, are lead players in introducing SQUID EM technology to uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin. Our recent past experience with this technology in the Basin positions us to be considered leaders in this new EM advancement.
Mr. Nimeck was employed from 2004 to late 2009 with Areva Resources Canada Inc, and was the lead geophysicist on the Shea Creek uranium deposit. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Nimeck provided consulting geophysical expertise on environmental and various resource programs for Komex International Ltd. of Calgary AB. Between 1984 to 1998 Mr. Nimeck gained experience working on many of Cameco’s (formerly SMDC) projects, and became the geophysicist responsible for all work on the Rabbit Lake, Dawn Lake, the Thelon Basin and gold projects in Nevada and Mexico.
Mr. Nimeck is registered as a P. Geo. in Saskatchewan and as a P. Geoph. in Alberta.
